Inner Listening – Time To Listen To The Stirrings Inside

Bluebird In Flight

“Inner listening is a beautiful way of being. Why would we listen to all the noise outside of ourselves more than we listen to the whispers of true love healing that emerges from within our consciousness?” Why not take the time to listen to the stirrings inside?

As I listened to the beautiful sounds of birds singing that greeted a new day under the rising of the sun, I asked a question within my silent inner space.

Their beautiful sounds stirred my inner vibration and I felt the waves of love surge through my body, touching my consciousness with a gift in The Moment.

I felt my orgasmic nature rise, and I allowed  it.  Smiling into the moment, I heard the answer.

Inner~Listening

“It is because you do not trust who and what you are…you feel afraid of truly seeing, hearing and feeling.  You feel that you are not enough”

” All that is needed, is for you to enter within, free from judgment and openly with curiosity just like a youthful child and you will discern the more.”

“If you are willing to Let Go, Love will flow through you freely without any resistance”

I smiled within the hearing of true wisdom and leaned within a little more.

The beautiful singing birds were teaching me ….. They taught me how to truly listen to the song birds, singing from within my heart.

Creating A Meditative Space

Creating a meditative space within your home can provide you with a dedicated sanctuary for practicing inner listening. It can also become your “Go To” in times of stress.

Here’s a simple step-by-step process to help you create such a space:

Find a Suitable Space:

Choose a quiet and relatively secluded area in your home where you can establish your meditative space. It could be a spare room, a corner of a room, or even a cozy spot in your garden if weather permits.

Clear the Space:

Clear any clutter or distractions from the chosen area. Remove unnecessary items and create a clean and open environment. This helps promote a sense of calm and tranquility. You can even use incense or sage sticks to smudge and cleanse the atmosphere.

Choose Comfortable Seating:

Select a comfortable cushion or chair for your seating arrangement. You may prefer a meditation cushion, a yoga mat, or a comfortable chair that supports your posture. Ensure the seating allows you to relax and maintain a comfortable, upright position during your practice.

Set the Ambiance:

Enhance the ambiance of your meditative space with elements that promote relaxation and focus. Consider adding soft lighting, such as candles or a Himalayan salt lamp, to create a soothing atmosphere. You can also incorporate calming scents with essential oils or incense.

Personalize with Meaningful Objects:

Add personal touches to your space by incorporating meaningful objects that resonate with you. These could include symbols, statues, crystals, or images that inspire peace and reflection. Surrounding yourself with objects that hold significance can deepen your connection to your practice.

Create a Sensory Experience:

Engage your senses to deepen your meditative experience. Incorporate soothing sounds, such as gentle instrumental music or nature sounds, through speakers or headphones. Consider using a soft blanket or shawl for warmth and tactile comfort.

Minimize Distractions:

Ensure the space is free from distractions. Silence your phone or place it in another room to avoid interruptions. Consider using curtains or blinds to block out external visual distractions. Let others in your household know that this is your designated quiet time.

Add Inspirational Reading Material:

Place books, poetry, or spiritual texts that inspire you nearby. These can be sources of wisdom and inspiration during your inner listening practice. Choose materials that align with your interests and resonate with your journey of self-discovery.

Establish a Routine:

Commit to a regular practice in your meditative space. Set aside a specific time each day or week for inner listening. Consistency is key in deepening your practice and experiencing the full benefits of listening within.

Honor Your Space:

Respect and honor your meditative space. Treat it as a sacred sanctuary dedicated to your inner well-being. Keep it clean, organized, and free from any negative energy. Regularly maintain and refresh the space to cultivate a sense of reverence and intention.

Remember, creating a meditative space is about nurturing an environment that supports your inner listening practice. It should reflect your personal preferences and resonate with your unique journey of self-exploration. Enjoy the process and allow your meditative space to become a haven of inner peace and self-discovery.
